libc6-i386 software package provides Embedded GNU C Library: 32-bit shared libraries for AMD64, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libc6-i386
libc6-i386 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libc6-i386 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libc6-i386 *
You will get with libc6-i386 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
